Casual Video Editor

We’re seeking skilled video editors to join our small but dynamic team and help us meet high demand as we lead an exciting new phase of multiplatform local TV for our community and content partners.

About us

Channel 44 is Adelaide’s community broadcaster, airing diverse local TV across the Adelaide metro area, and everywhere on our streaming service CTV+. We’re committed to creating high-quality broadcast and streaming content that shares diverse, local stories; to building strong creative partnerships with other community- focused organisations; and to forging pathways that enable emerging and aspiring creators to gain the skills needed to be South Australia’s next generation of screen professionals.

Essential Criteria

  • High-level editing skills and ability to deliver accurately to a brief
  • High-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro
  • Demonstrable editorial judgement
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and be flexible under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Casual Camera Operator

  • Proficiency with Canon, Sony and Blackmagic cameras
  • Demonstrable editorial judgement
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
