Just seven days until it was set to disappear forever from Australian television, community TV has been granted three more years of free-to-air broadcasting after an amendment to broadcasting legislation passed in the Australian Senate and House of Representatives, cementing community broadcasting licences for C44 Adelaide and C31 Melbourne until 30 June 2024.
Following Wednesday’s COVID 19 restriction updates in Victoria, the 2021 Antenna Awards will not go ahead this Saturday, 29th of May. It is with great consideration and disappointment that the Awards Committee have decided to reschedule the event to Saturday, June 19th at 7:30pm.
