General Manager Lauren Hillman leads the team at C44 with over 16 years of industry experience. Lauren has had an exciting and varied career in the South Australian TV and media industry working for ABCTV, Channel Nine, and as an independent freelance producer. In 2014, Lauren wrote, directed and produced ‘The Daters’ for ABC which is currently still streaming on iView. Lauren also produced two award winning sold out Adelaide Fringe shows with Annabel Crabb in 2016 and 2019. Excited about creating opportunities within untapped areas of the SA community, Lauren looks forward to showcasing new local talent and moving the station forward online to a multi platform delivery service for the South Australian community.

Chris leads our transition to a digital-first strategy. He comes from a background in media, communications and non-profit management and brings a strong record in leading change in community broadcasting. As Station Manager at Radio Adelaide, Chris led the respected community broadcaster through its tumultuous 2016 rebirth as an independent station with an innovative business strategy that significantly increased Radio Adelaide’s broadcast audience and digital engagement, and created Podcast Works, an innovative podcast production service which produced series for the City of Adelaide, University of Adelaide, UniSA and Adelaide Central Market.
Emmanuel Photakis – or Eman, as he is widely known – is our Broadcast and Digital Manager. He ensures the station’s on air systems are running correctly and manages our live stream productions. Eman has been involved in the media in Adelaide for many years, coming to C44 after working in the world of radio. Emmanuel has always had a passion for producing local content and has encyclopaedic knowledge of Adelaide broadcasting history. He loves his sport and is excited to bring more local sports coverage to C44.
Did you know?… Eman is a technology enthusiast and owns an extensive collection of ex-broadcast gear from many of Adelaide’s television and radio stations.
Albert has emerged from a vast entertainment background stemming almost 40 years. From a variety performer for stage, screen and radio to producing and directing more than 60 theatrical productions, touring shows and festivals/events. His recent screen producing credits include three short documentaries for NITV with “The Butterfish Mob” Premiering at Adelaide Film Festival 2018.
His award-winning short comedy plays have toured around Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, India, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. He penned a series of e-books comprising of two hundred short scripts used by actors, casting agents and drama teachers, and won three national awards for writing comedy radio commercials.
Did you know?… Albert won best comedy award at SASA 2019 (SA Screen Awards). He also used to tour as a cabaret dancer and hosted and toured with Here’s Humphrey in the early 90’s!
