Cooking Just4Me: My Taste, No Waste
Host of Just4Me Bake Club Caroline Rowe is back to help us cook small and save waste in Cooking Just4Me: My Taste, No Waste.
Australian households waste hundreds of thousands of tonnes of food every year. Around 58% of Australian homes are one- or two-person households. Yet everything from food packaging to popular recipes is geared toward cooking for four to eight people. Many of us simply don’t know how to cook for small households, so we buy—and then waste—too much food.
In Cooking Just4Me: No Taste, No Waste, Caroline meets a small-householder each week and helps them better understand what they like, what their dietary requirements are, and how to shop and cook to achieve both more efficiently and save waste.
Watch Cooking Just4Me: No Taste, No Waste on C44 at 7.30pm Thursdays from May 13 or catch up at c44.com.au.
