C44 has partnered with the South Australian Film Corporation to create new career pathways for South Australian First Nations screen practitioners.
Up to five First Nations identified interns will be mentored by the Channel 44 team across key creative and crew roles. Each internship requires up to 80 hours of unpaid work that will include hands-on experience in television production, along with opportunities to learn new skills and create original content.
Positions and duties available for internships across multiple roles include:
- Operations Assistant (Production Assistant)
- Web Development
- Production Coordinator
- Social Media and Marketing
- Broadcast Assistant (Production Assistant)
- Other casual production crew opportunities – hair, makeup, wardrobe

How can I apply?
Applicants will be selected via an interview process with Channel 44.

- One page cover letter outlining how an internship at Channel 44 will boost your career within screen
- Half-page bio and
- CV including all existing screen credits or relevant experience.
